The Realtors® Association of Hamilton-Burlington is pleased to announce that we will be introducing an optional, board-wide member benefit program.
This program will include Medical and Dental coverage along with Voluntary Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Accident & Serious Illness insurances. The Medical plan includes Prescription Drugs, Accidental Dental, Semi-Private Hospital, Private Duty Nursing and Out of Country coverage along with flexible funds available for Vision, Paramedical services and Dental Care.
In addition to this, you are eligible to participate in the Members only “Top Up” Medical and Dental program. For members who are looking to maximize their eligible tax deductions, additional contributions may be made to a separate personal spending account. The contributions will be applied to eligible medical expenses using pretax dollars and the plan can be customized to suit your individual needs.

Medical/Dental
Core Benefits
- Prescription Drug coverage up to $25,000 per individual per year
- Accidental Dental coverage up to $5,000 per individual per year
- Semi-Private Hospital coverage up to $5,000 per individual per year
- Private Duty Nursing coverage up to $10,000 per individual per year
- Travel Protection for trips up to 30 days to a maximum of $5 million per individual
Flexible Funds
- Option 1 – $500/year for single individuals for vision, paramedical and/or dental
- Option 2 – $750/year for couples for vision, paramedical and/or dental
- Option 3 – $1,000/year for families for vision, paramedical and/or dental
Top Up
- Members may choose additional contributions based on individual benefit requirements to maximize their eligible tax deduction.
Voluntary Life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment and Serious Illness Benefits are also available which you may like to select in addition to the Medical and Dental.
